The role of knowledge and dealing with the economy
Mission of SRC Bistra Ptuj in the field of economy
«Creating and transferring new knowledge from universities and institutes to the economy»
KNOWLEDGE FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH
Investing in research and development (R & D) is a key factor in sustainable economic growth and the emergence of new, better jobs and the increase in value added to the company. Researching and developing the product and its launching on the market is a lengthy process and the results of investment in R & D are delayed, therefore they represent an investment rather than a cost.
SRC BISTRA PTUJ as a PARTICIPANT IN THE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER PROCESS
At SRC Bistra Ptuj, we are aware of the importance of supporting research, science and technology for the efficient transfer of results to the economy. At the same time we understand the principles of research work and the acquisition of new technological and developmental skills; In order to understand the conditions of their transfer to economic practice, we successfully cooperate with economic operators. The research group SRC Bistra Ptuj has managed to develop a quality supportive environment for entrepreneurship and innovation through increased investment in strengthening links with universities and institutes both at home and abroad.
Since companies must continuously strengthen their innovation capabilities, the pro-active role of SRC Bistra Ptuj is in the process from the complete implementation of company development ideas to supporting the deployment of newly developed / innovative solutions to production. Funding mechanisms through various European and national calls are very supportive.
SRC BISTRA PTUJ as RELIABLE SUPPORT ENVIRONMENT FOR STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIP
In the area of investments in R & D, transfer and dissemination of knowledge, SRC Bistra Ptuj is a competent and reliable partner. Based on years of experience, we advise companies to:
- more efficient use of European funds under the Framework Program for the promotion of entrepreneurship, industrial competitiveness and innovation, in particular aimed at the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises,
- in the context of applied projects, to better exploit the potential of publicly funded researchers and research organisations,
- demonstrate a greater interest in the employment of young researchers and in this way provide a faster flow of knowledge from universities mentors / research institutions to a young researcher dealing with a real problem in the economy,
- greater internationalisation, especially as regards attracting foreign researchers and students,
- employ more highly educated staff,
- more active public promotion of successful researchers and innovators,
- face the fears of information leakage and effectively protect the area with patents.
