Demonstration of the use of textile insulation made from recycled textile waste on the example of the Circular Economy Studio (studioKroG)
6 January 2023, Slovenske Konjice
- Are you interested in what textile insulation is?
- How can textile insulation for construction purposes be obtained by recycling textile waste?
- How can textile insulation be used for thermal insulation of purpose-built spaces (home, office, commercial building etc.)?
- What are its advantages compared to other insulation solutions that have a low contribution to environmental protection or to reducing resource consumption?
You are invited to a workshop demonstrating the use of textile insulation made from waste textiles, using the example of a containerised green office, whose construction is entirely based on the reuse of already discarded materials, which is the aim of the circular economy to reduce the use of natural resources and GHG emissions.
WHERE: Slovenske Konjice, Tattenbachova 5d (CPU)
WHEN: from 6 January 2023 to 10 January 2023 between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
StudioKroG as a pilot project is based on the fact that the solution to climate change and the transition to a low-carbon circular economy is not to restrict and prohibit, but to promote socially responsible entrepreneurship and to create a new "competition" in society, local communities and organisations with the challenge of how to live and create with the minimum consumption of resources and energy according to the principles of circular resource use.
