The International Green Fair has concluded, focusing on eco-innovation, e-mobility, green jobs, the circular economy, the transition to RES, efficient management of natural resources, sustainable construction, etc. The Circular Economy Action Plan identifies construction and buildings as key links in the circular economy chain. Therefore, a good knowledge of the principles and principles of the circular economy is becoming an increasingly important skill in the construction sector.

In the framework of the Green Fair (Green Stage - SRIP Circular Economy), we conducted a training on the topic of the Circular Economy Studio in the function of circular thinking in practice. We put circularity into practice with the 9R-concept focusing on R2 - Reduce, R3 - Reuse, R4 - Repair, R5 - Refurbish, R6 - Recycle, R7 - Repurpose. By taking a holistic approach of all the above mentioned "R" concepts and adding a new R-concept, i.e. Re-design of discarded objects/waste, we will go beyond the existing practice in Slovenia and demonstrate the possibilities of circular resource use for different material waste streams on the example of the mobile construction and equipment of the studioKroG Circular Economy Demonstration Centre (location Slovenske Konjice - CPU, location Rogaška Slatina - OKP).
