RESULTS OF THE YOUTH COMPETITION -
Getting creative with waste to reduce virgin materials (T2.3.4)
The studioKroG project, an open competition for young people to get creative with waste to reduce virgin materials, received 31 applications. The project committee, composed of Dr Klavdija Rižnar (ZRS BISTRA PTUJ), Dr Marinka Vovk (CPU d.o.o., co.p.), Petra Strašek (OKP d.o.o.) and Nina Prelog (RRC Ormož), reviewed and evaluated the competition entries received within the deadline on the basis of the defined criteria.
In accordance with the call for entries, the jury adopted the following decision:

VIZ III. Primary School Rogaška Slatina: "Imprint me" (mentor: Jerneja Borovnik)
The winning schools will be involved in the project activity Demonstrating the transformation of waste into useful products through design and reuse for learning purposes (T.2.2.1), where the project partner CPU Ltd. will design a school corner of the winning schools' choice, based on the reuse principle, in order to demonstrate the use value of waste through the resource cycle and waste design.
Second and third place schools by region will be rewarded with re-use teaching aids provided by the project partner CPU so.p.
